Club Courtesy Reminder
-
Events are open only to members and their guests. This is true even when an event is held at a place or by an organization that also holds public events. Valley Gardeners arranges a customized tour or presentation for club members for which the club pays a fee or an honorarium.
-
When a member invites a guest to an event, the guest may come one time in a calendar year. If the guest wishes to attend additional events, they must become a member.
-
All guests must be invited by and accompanied by a member.
-
Deadlines to RSVP for an event are firm. By the RSVP date, the event organizer, the presenter, and Hospitality Committee need to know how many people will attend In order to prepare the quality presentations and refreshments that we have come to expect.
-
Late reservations cannot be accommodated. In addition, if a member cancels after the deadline, she will be charged the event fee.
